  • Recently the entire globe has been hit with password stealing malware, so changing passwords, adding additional steps of security while online is now fully critical. Not surprising, Facebook has once again been targeted with fake adds, these adds take the user to an external web site, things may seem to be official, but never, never press enter on any download button, unless you have absolutely verified the company, web site and possible consumer rating.

Remember, being online is just a virtual world, and in life there will always be good and bad people, keep yourselves safe by using web sites you’re familiar with and have heard of, in real life would you get “takeout food,” at midnight in a high crime area? Hopefully not, so don’t interact with suspect web sites, downloads, adds and emails that are simply weird, poorly set up and have bad spelling, if you’re ever questioning a company or add, perform a “Google search,” and simply ask if the content in question is fake, you’re not the only one trying to be safe online, your results may be surprising!
