Upcoming Safari AI function, basically a copycat of Copilot!

In the war of AI dominance, all functions will not be new, in fact there will be a lot of digital borrowing (shall we say), and companies will attempt to cover up their borrowing with fancy names that only impress their obscure developers. The upcoming Safari apparently is no different, matter fact check out the below overly dramatic name given for a new reported AI Safari function:

  • “Intelligent Search-AI-Enhanced Browsing And Text Summarization.”

LOL! This is basically an AI feature already active in the Microsoft Edge (Copilot), which analyzes a browsers search from the address bar, then uses AI to review the page of essential points/information, then Copilot speaks out a verbal paraphrase of all the important points, the Paschall Power newsletter reported on this useful, accessible function in a previous edition. In any case, it’s good to see company’s fighting for AI dominance, we will be the winners as consumers!
