However, as technology advances, it’s getting more difficult; how about when these AI-Bots speak with each other? Do you remember (C3PO) that’s right, the robot from Star Wars, and the beeping sound the robot made when speaking? There you go. For blind people and everyone else, AI-Bots are the future, but what happens when they go straight to the beeping stuff? Consumers should keep a watch on these communications, without continuous human intervention, we may be going down a dark road. If AI-Bots are used for productive reasons, like accessible education, information sharing and possibly “AI-Companionship,” our society could use the technology for the good. AS AI-Bots expand in capability, blind consumers can also benefit, especially when needing information for independence, such as cooking, and even certain types of health communication, but can society trust AI-Bots? · Recently Google updated its Android OS, which included what their engineers call “System SafetyCore. The new safety related feature is buried in “patch updates,” but has been making some users unhappy. However, there are two sides to everything, at least that’s what my mother told me a few moons back; one of the main items of the feature is called “sensitive content warnings,” and it will kick in if it detects nudity in images, if it is indeed nudity at all, but how about if your an adult and have private images, not sexually related? That’s the other side of the story, and yes, you can disable it, read below for more from Google developers:“Sensitive Content Warnings is an optional feature that blurs images that may contain nudity before viewing and then prompts with a ‘speed bump’ that contains help-finding resources and options, including to view the content.”For parents, the safety feature is great, but as mentioned above, if you are of legal age, and are an adult, maybe not so much, anyway you have the control.· Activate the below link to learn more about “sensitive content warnings,” and how to enable & disable the feature💡A new Android feature is scanning your photos for ‘sensitive content’ – how to stop it | ZDNETThe Paschall Power Star of the MonthWe have now come to the end of our sixteenth edition of the Paschal Power Newsletter, and you know what that means, right? ahh yes, the Paschall Power Star for the month of March (2025) and we are proud to announce that Dr. Hazel Duke, the tireless civil rights activist, and longtime NAACP leader is our honoree.
