Dear Paschall Access Solutions Family & Friends,
Welcome to our very first edition of the (Paschall Power) newsletter, we are thrilled to share some remarkable updates with you. It’s an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and make strides in our mission to support individuals with visual impairments. Here are our first key highlights:Ø CEO’s New Role with Pennsylvania Council of the Blind:o We are delighted to announce that our very own CEO Jason Miller has been elected as a new member of the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Council of the Blind (PCB). This is a significant step forward as it enables us to further our advocacy and technology-related efforts for people who have low vision and people who are blind. Our CEO and leader of the “new generation of blind computer users,” is excited to start working on important issues that matter to our community. Amongst areas of importance are two big ones, as noted below:Ø Advocacyo We have been elected because of you! Yes, we are on the PCB Board, but we are not here to sit and watch. Jay will be advocating for serval issues that mean everything to us! Including, (web accessibility rights, at home and the workplace). Accessible Transportation, finally someone who has been through the transportation struggles being blind using accessible public transportation, its time to be heard and right now. 👍👍👍Ø Technologyo The world is evolving and changing, the baby boomers use IG and X, why can’t you? Why isn’t accessible technology used in a significant way to enhance employment for the vision impaired and blind? Did you know, it is still 79 to nearly 85 percent of the blind community unemployed? Its time to use the same technology that can send a war drone to battle to help the blind earn a comparable living….do you agree….Let Jay know by dropping him an email at:· PASS1@AccessiblePASS.net.

Ø Accessible Virtual Tours of the White House:o We believe that accessibility should be inclusive for everyone, and that’s why we are thrilled to inform you about the new accessible virtual tours of the White House. These tours have been designed to cater to the needs of people with disabilities, including those who use screen reading technologies. Thanks to audio descriptions, you can now tour the White House and experience its history and grandeur like never before. How about learning how to cook a new dish for the holidays; moreover, your favorite news channels, controlling your thermostat, lights and even monitoring your home when you are not around!
