- For several years now Apple Pay has been integrated into the iOS platform, almost begging users to sign up and use their financial services, I don’t know too many people who use Apple Pay, but new warnings are advising users to be careful when allowing Apple Intelligence to integrate with your banking life. The same goes with giving (Google Maps) permissions to monitor and follow you’re every moves.
It’s all in the (14 thousand word ) privacy reading for both Apple Intelligence and Google Maps, basically we have the power to allow both (Siri & Apple Intelligence/Google Maps) to learn from us or not, make your choices carefully, as the wrong choice could leave you vulnerable. Below you can quickly check out YOUR OWN SETTINGS in the new Siri with Apple Intelligence and turn features on/off:
*open the iPhone’s Settings, scroll down to Siri & Apple Intelligence, scroll down again and select Apps, scroll down all the way to wherever your banking information is, such as your (Bank of America app) NOW deselect the Learn from this App switch, as well as the Suggest App and Suggest Notifications switches.
*Note, if you do not want Google Maps to know your location, and learn from your traveling habits, turn it off. Although some of these intelligent features could be helpful, some are overbearing and teeter on privacy violations, if you’re ever concerned, turn them off!
